Free the Bears supports projects in both Thailand and Indonesia in collaboration with other non-government organisations (NGO's).

Since 2006, Free the Bears Fund has been working with Wildlife Friends Foundation of Thailand (WFFT), a local organization dedicated to combating the illegal wildlife trade and providing a home for rescued animals at their Wildlife Rescue Center in Petchaburi province, south of Bangkok.

In Indonesia we have been supporting the development of the KWPLH Environmental Education and Recreation Centre outside of Balikpapan, East Kalimantan since 2003.
