Write a letter

Taking the time to write a personal letter is a valuable way to help protest against the cruelty inflicted on bears around the world. Many of the countries where the worst abuse of bears takes place actually depend heavily upon tourism and so by adding your voice to our campaigns you are demonstrating your commitment towards a world where bears are not incarcerated for the amusement of people and where bears and humanity live in harmony. We encourage people to write their own individual letters or emails, rather than signing their name to a ‘standardised’ letter of protest, however we do ask that anyone writing a letter follows these simple guidelines;

1.     Letters should always be written in a polite manner.

2.     Letters should give credit to the relevant authorities for their efforts to protect bears whilst encouraging further action

3.     Letters should state clearly that the exploitation of bears anywhere in the world is unacceptable and will deter tourism whilst attracting international criticism

Thank you all for taking the time to do this, these actions take just a little bit of time but really do have a huge impact!
