Staff at Cambodia recently organised an expert Wildlife/Zoo Veterinary team from the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland to spend 8 days at Phnom Tamao Wildlife Rescue Center to carry out an intensive training period for local vets involved in the care of rescued bears at our sanctuaries in Cambodia and Vietnam. Many topics of bear veterinary management were covered allowing our vets to gain valuable knowledge and practical skills while assisting the expert team in carrying out a range of procedures.
