Kham – Laos PDR Asiatic Black Bear
Kham is a beautiful female Asiatic with soft deep eyes and a gentle nature.
She lives with her friends in the lush Kuang Xi Park close to the famous Water
Falls. But she very nearly ended up in a Vietnamese Bile Farm. She was rescued
in 2004 by Laos officials after they apprehended the traders who were attempting
to smuggle her across the border.
