Kayasin – Laos PDR Asiatic Black Bear
Kayasin was rescued along with two other cubs in 2004. Traders were taking
the young cubs across the border into Vietnam were they would have spent the
rest of their lives being milked for their bile in a Bile Farm. Now safe at the
Kuang Xi Centre in Luang Prabang Kayasin has grown into a very healthy and happy
bear.
